Jane was born and has lived in Castle Vale all her life, going to School at the old Castle Vale Comprehensive school. For the last 20 years Jane has worked at Spitfire Services ( formally the TRA), starting as a receptionist and is now the Deputy CEO with all operational responsibility for the running of the organisation.  Jane lived through the transformation from the old Castle Vale to the new estate that emerged from the regeneration and the Housing Action Trust. Jane has been integral to many developments including the saving of Castle Vale Library and Castle Vale swimming Baths and the development of Upcycle Birmingham. Most recently helping to  secure the  first Covid Memorial Garden for Castle Vale. Not only a resident but integral to the fabric of Castle Vale. It is this lifetime of experience Jane will bring to her role as resident board member.
