We set our garage rent levels in agreement with our resident-led CVCH Board. These take into account what other organisations charge for garages, including Birmingham City Council.

When coming to a rent level we take into account affordability and the demand for our garages. We therefore often set them below the market rate to attract more people to rent them.

Customers who rent a home from us don’t have to pay VAT on garages. This is because of the rules on VAT. More information on VAT can be found on the government website here
